Treatment Programs
Duty-aware, neuroscience-backed treatment for lasting sobriety
Medical Detox
Our 3–7 day medically supervised detox clears the body of alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, kratom, and other substances under round-the-clock physician and nursing care. FDA-approved medications reduce withdrawal discomfort while our team monitors vital signs and adjusts protocols in real time.
For veterans and first responders, detox can surface trauma responses alongside physical symptoms. Our nursing director—a retired Army nurse—ensures the environment remains calm, structured, and free of unnecessary stimuli. Once stable, patients move directly into residential or outpatient care with a treatment plan already in hand.
Residential Treatment
Our 30–90 day residential program provides immersive care in a structured, mission-driven environment. Each day begins with an extended 30-minute mindfulness meditation, followed by individual counseling, trauma-focused CBT, neurofeedback sessions, and somatic experiencing work. Afternoons include group therapy, 12-Step facilitation, and physical fitness on our outdoor fitness area and walking trails.
The Roseville campus sits minutes from Folsom Lake and the Sierra Nevada foothills—an environment that supports hiking-based therapy and outdoor breathwork. Family therapy sessions, nutritional planning, and reintegration workshops prepare both the patient and their household for a strong transition home.
Outpatient Program
Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) runs 8–12 weeks with three to four sessions per week, allowing veterans, first responders, and working professionals to maintain their careers and family responsibilities. Standard outpatient care continues on a flexible schedule for those who need sustained clinical contact after IOP.
Sessions focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, relapse prevention, peer support groups, and ongoing mindfulness practice. We coordinate with VA providers, fire department EAP programs, and community therapists so nothing falls through the cracks during step-down.
Dual Diagnosis
Service-related trauma and addiction rarely travel alone. PTSD, major depression, anxiety disorders, and traumatic brain injury frequently co-occur with substance dependence among veterans and first responders. Our dual diagnosis track treats both conditions under a single, coordinated clinical plan because addressing one while ignoring the other almost always leads to relapse.
Psychiatrists and trauma-trained therapists collaborate on each case, combining psychiatric evaluation, medication management, neurofeedback, and somatic experiencing. Families participate in psychoeducation sessions so they understand how co-occurring conditions affect behavior and recovery at home.
